The glutes are the 2nd strongest muscles in the body and you have one on each side of your buttocks. They are opposites to the psoas and other hip flexors. These muscles pull your leg backward. Many times the glute muscles do not work properly as the front of the hips are tight.
Since we have spent the last days opening the front body it is time to start working on the glute muscles.
The glutes are also major factors in the pain from sciatica.
