DAY 26. Working on the breast bone.

Myosfascial release on the sternum (breast bone)

Does your chest or ribs hurt? Do your ribs hurt when you take a deep breath, or when you lift something?

The body's ribs attach to our backs, spinal column, and our front body's sternum with cartilage. It's this cartilage that stiffens when it has been stressed from sudden moves and or poor posture.

The Backhealer ball can be safely used to release:

* Go super easy on this area as it can be tender.
* Do small moves starting at the top just below the collar bone. Move side to side and downwards.
* Use slow, gentle breathing on exhale.

Modifications:

Women may need to stand up against a wall in a thoroughfare to use the ball on the mid-lower area of the sternum.

Contraindications: Use caution. If you have and or suspect you have heart or lung issues, please check with a doctor before doing.
