How long will it take until you start feeling better?

The timeline for healing depends on: the individual; the extent and duration of the injury; age; overall health status.

The timeline also depends on the type of injury.
Muscle heals itself within 10 days, tendons within 3 months, ligaments, sometimes years.

Chronic brain patterning may take months to reprogram depending on your daily activity.

The mental advantages to self-care take effect immediately. You will feel good about having something to do. As you practice daily your body will become more supple and strong.

Principles for moving forward as quickly as possible:

  1. Communicate openly and honestly to yourself.
  2. You get out what you put in. It's a fact of life.
  3. Be relentless.
